On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Video and Photography Content Creator to work in Uganda.
Job Summary
The Video and Photography Content Creator will play a crucial role in expanding Company online presence through engaging video content across digital platforms. This position entails creating, editing, and publishing content for Company digital platforms. It offers an exciting opportunity for growth within our fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment. We're seeking a dynamic individual with a pulse on social trends who can rapidly produce content tailored for various digital platforms.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Coordinate, shoot and edit content from start to finish daily, with a focus on quick-turn platform-specific videos for digital platforms.
Demonstrate strong editing skills that lead to compelling and visually interesting storytelling
Develop and pitch ideas for long-form content, short-form content, and live content
Monitor platform trends and audience sentiment to make content decisions for the LPGA Tours digital platforms
Collaborate on bi-weekly content calls and cross-department brainstorm sessions
Create short reel videos with Christian Academy students singing and dancing that will be posted on social media twice a week.
Work on long music video projects, creating partnerships with other companies when necessary to produce music videos
All videos must be of entertainment to a USA based audience.
Collaborating with account strategists, digital creatives, and other team members to create video content that effectively drives results
Participating in developing creative strategy, brainstorming, and storyboarding for video projects
Overseeing planning and necessary communications to prepare for gathering footage
Conducting both on-site and off-site video shoots
Conceiving, scripting and producing video content
Managing vendors/creative resources to produce video, marketing collateral
Collaborating with clients to determine the purpose of a video, then developing a plan to accomplish those goals through film, animation and editing
Shooting, editing and creating captivating video, digital media and motion graphic content and stories
Filming and editing productions, rehearsals, events and other live performances in single and multi-camera shoots
Taking an active lead role in all Media products, performances and events as necessary.
To play an active role in the life of the student, acting as a godly mentor and carry out all responsibilities linked with that role.
Qualifications And Skills Required
Bachelors’ degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, and Information Systems or any related field.
Video filming and editing experience.
Proficiency in creating social media videos.
Knowledge of technology related to video production.
Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
Demonstrated commitment to faith in Christ and the principles of Christian education.
Enthusiastic support of Company’s mission and vision.
Own personal equipment
Experience with making social media videos.
Experience with working with children
Experience with dancing and signing
knowledge of and competency in computers and technology resources such as Google Drive, Google Email, Microsoft Office, WhatsApp, etc.
Excellent verbal, written communication and organizational skills.
A demonstrated commitment to faith in Christ and the principles of Christian education.
